The conference got into high gear Monday morning with an opening keynote from ACGI’s President and CEO, Kevin Hostutler. His talk, “ACGI–Our Vision. Our Direction,” told the story of ACGI’s beginnings, growth and ongoing success and vision for the future.
“…As I talk about our vision and direction, it should give us a hint of where we’re going, but also where we come from. I believe we’re a different kind of company and we’re true to the principles that started our business. We started with humble beginnings, focused on loyalty and passion to our customers. That still guides us today…”-Kevin Hostutler, President & CEO, ACGI Software
Following the opening sessions and guest keynote from Terri Langhans, Certified Speaking Professional at Blah, Blah, Blah, Etc. Topics covered a range from an overview of business intelligence and reporting in Association Anywhere to the effective management of membership dues, association websites, online member communities, mobile apps, and training and certification programs, just to name a few.
The time between sessions provided an opportunity to connect with our sponsoring resource partners and explore the many solutions they have to offer. This includes mobile and Web solutions, content management and e-marketing, private social networks and online communities, event management, online education and e-learning solutions.
ACGI concluded Monday evening by hosting a customer appreciation dinner event at the eclectic Geppi’s Entertainment Museum.
