Yes, it’s already time for ASAE’s 2016 Annual Meeting and Expo! In just about a week, thousands from the associations community will descend upon, “The Crossroads of the West”, better know as Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 13th-16th at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
We are happy to announce that we will be exhibiting once again at ASAE’s annual event of the summer! You’ll find us in Hall E, August 14 & 15, 10:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., at booth 749. We encourage you to stop by and learn how our latest product release is helping associations, credentialing organizations and AMCs achieve high-performance. When you visit, you can also enter yourself into our giveaway for a chance to win an Amazon Echo! We hope to see some familiar faces during the event.
If you are looking for a more in-depth, private meeting with ACGI staff during the conference, we strongly encourage you to schedule a private meeting online with us so that we can accommodate that request. These meetings will be held in the Business Connection Lounge (BCL) at the Salt Palace Convention Center. More information about the BCL and scheduling a private meeting can be found by clicking here.
Here are some highlights of the conference we thought worth mentioning:
Keynote Speakers:
ASAE will welcome Captains Mark and Scott Kelly, NASA astronauts, as the opening keynote speakers to kick-off the conference on Sunday, August 14, 8:30–10:00 a.m with a presentation titled, “Rocket Men. To Infinity and Beyond!”. These accomplished identical twins have had their fair share of unique, life-changing experiences and will share their thoughts on teamwork, leadership, and risk taking.
ASAE will also welcome Derreck Kayongo, human rights activist and humanitarian, who founded the Global Soap Project, as the closing keynote speaker on Tuesday, August 16, 12:30–2:30 p.m with a presentation titled, “Tapping Your Power to Create Movement”. Mr. Kayongo will share his experiences transitioning from a Ugandan refugee to creating the Global Soap Project, which helps provide aid in the form of bars of soap to those communities in need.
