Last October, I had the privilege of attending my first TEDX MidAtlantic in Washington, D.C. The theme? “Fearless.”
If you don’t know about TED, it’s “a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.” Each TED and TEDX conference brings together a group of compelling speakers, whose talks support “the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world.”
Now back to the theme. “Fearless” inspired me in many ways to face my fears, recognize my weaknesses and boldly take chances with my career. A few enlightening talks I recommend include those by:
