Shocked and Amazed (Really)—ASAE Tech 2014 Delivers End of Year Inspiration

Call me shocked and amazed. This year’s ASAE Technology Conference held at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland, definitely had me thinking, “what next?” No surprise really, because “what’s next” —according to ASAE CIO Reggie Henry—wasthe theme of this year’s event.From 3D printers and drones to beacons tracking expo hall traffic (and producing a unique heat map of results), and even a virtual presenter named Melissa, ASAE Tech 2014 had meintrigued.

It wasn’t just the flashy gadgets that caught my attention either. The sessions I attended were insightful, sharing new levelstechnology is reachingto enhance communications, membership management, marketing initiatives, branding, data management and more for associations.
